GURAZ VALLEY
Location Description
Guraz is a lovely valley five miles in lenght lying at an elevation of about 8000 feet above the sea . The kishenganga river flows through it, and on either side are mountains . The climate is dry and mid ,excellent english vegetables can be grown ,and the wild raspberries and currants are delicious.
Guraz is 80km from bandipora .A 4 to 5 hours drive . The Razdan pass is trown open in may \ june and the road is closed for the traffic by mid november .
