Location Description
Ladakh , LAND OF HIGH PASSES is a region in northern india . It is located between the kunlun mountain range in the north and the main himalayas to the south . Ladakh is well known for its remote mountain scenery .It is inhabited by a mix of indo-Aryan and tibetan people .
The main city of ladakh is situated at 3500m above sea level nestled in the great himalayas ,karakoram ,zanskar and ladakh ranges . ladakh is also known for the monasteries and stupas . Ladakh is often refered as a '' little tibet ''due to its gregraphical proximity and strong links to the tibetan culture.
